CSRRI Mission Statement

The mission of the CSRRI is to promote, coordinate, and foster research and educational activities in synchrotron radiation science and related fields at IIT.

Research Synergy

The CSRRI promotes synchrotron radiation research at IIT by fostering cooperative and collaborative activities, not only among the core faculty, but also among faculty in other areas and at other institutions across the nation and around the world.

Education

The CSRRI fosters education in x-ray sciences both at IIT and in the larger scientific community through developing training programs, academic courses and specialized short courses as well as participating in summer schools and training workshops at national and international conferences.

Technology Transfer

The CSRRI is involved on the academic side of technology transfer efforts. CSRRI faculty and staff cultivate relationships with various regional technology companies with the aim of facilitating dissemination of CSRRI developed technologies to the benefit of society.
