What you disclose at the Student Health and Wellness Center is kept strictly confidential. Some important exceptions to this include information about child or elder abuse, serious risk to human life, and court orders. What you share with any staff member at the SHWC will not leave the office (for example, information will not be shared with your professor, parent/guardian, employer, or made a part of your academic record), unless specified by you through a written consent.
